Pathways and Opportunities at Worawa

At Worawa Aboriginal College, we are committed to preparing our students for life beyond school by offering a wide range of pathways and opportunities. We understand the importance of empowering our girls to explore their interests, develop their talents, and pursue meaningful careers or further education after they complete their studies with us.

To support this, we have a dedicated Career Practitioner who works closely with each student to guide them in discovering their passions and mapping out their future paths. Through personalised career planning, our students gain valuable insights and are equipped with the tools they need to make informed decisions about their next steps, whether that be in higher education, training, or entering the workforce.

We are proud to partner with TAFEs, universities, and a number of leading organisations to provide our students with access to diverse opportunities. These partnerships open doors for our girls to explore a variety of career options and educational pathways. From vocational training and apprenticeships to tertiary education and employment, Worawa students are supported every step of the way in securing a bright future.

Many of our students also choose to return to their home communities, where they become future leaders and role models. By bringing back the knowledge, skills, and confidence gained at Worawa, they contribute to their communities’ growth and development, embodying the spirit of leadership and service.

Our goal is to expose students to as many possibilities as we can, fostering a sense of confidence and purpose as they transition from school to their future endeavours. At Worawa, every girl is encouraged to dream big and pursue her aspirations, knowing that she has a strong foundation and a network of support behind her.
